High Snab Farm, Newlands Valley, Nr Keswick, Cumbria
High Snab is a traditional 17th century working fell farm located in the heart of the beautiful Newlands Valley.
Set in an idyllic elevated position, the farm and its holiday cottage have awe inspiring views down towards Catbells and Skiddaw. With little to disturb the peace and tranquility, we really have the perfect place to get away.
High Snab Farm is an ideal base for walkers, and for those simply in need of a relaxing break. Located on the famous "Newlands Horse Shoe" route, there are lots of fantastic walks from your door step. The close proximity to Keswick, lets you access the shops, restaurants, museums and farmers market, within a ten minute drive.
High Snab is a fabulous holiday cottage, fully renovated to a high standard, with a snug sitting room, woodburning stove, lovely kitchen diner, beautiful bathroom and two delightful bedrooms, which together create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Experience the farming way of life: see the spring lambs gamboling across the fells, the cows gently grazing the fields, taste fresh free range eggs straight from the hen house, and smell the fresh mown grass as we gather in the hay.
We conduct farm walks and talks on the day to day running of a fell farm.
At High Snab Farm, we run working farm holidays spread across the farming calendar.
